Fred Bosselman and his family opened Bosselman & Eaton Truck Stop on U.S. Highway 30 in Grand Island, Nebraska in 1948. The company grew and expanded into many new ventures. The company split into two entities in 2011 to handle its rapid growth and diversity of divisions. Bosselman Energy Companies are focused on wholesale and transportation.
