About the Job
A trucking company located in Long Island, NY looking for a Part Time CDL-A driver who can run OTR for two weeks out of the month. We run reefer and dry van work for long runs. Great pay.
Job Summary
- Contract Driver (1099, Solo)
- Dry Van and Refrigerated
- OTR
- $1,500 - $2,000 gross total weekly avg. pay
- $1000 minimum guaranteed weekly pay
- 2,000 - 2,500 avg. miles per week
- Line Haul
- Part time
- No Driver Load/Unload
- No slip seating
Home Time
- 10 - 14 expected days out
- Get 14 days of home time for every 14 days worked
- Home at least 2 weekends per month
Freight Handling Details
- 100% live load / unload
Pet and Rider Policy
- Pets are not allowed
- Riders are not allowed
Carrier and Truck Information
- Fleet size: 5 trucks
- Semi-trucks are governed at 70 mph
- Mostly manual semi-trucks
- Can't take truck home.
- We have Freightliners
- Truck equipment: Microwave, Refrigerator, APU
- No driver facing cameras
Orientation Details
- Orientation is not paid for
- Does not cover accommodation
- Drivers get their own room
- No meals are included
- Does not cover any travel expenses
Hiring Requirements
- Class A license without (E) Manual restriction
- 2 years OTR experience
