Since 1987, Baker Transportation has been a true testament to the value of hard work and dedication. As an owner operator, Billy Baker had a vision of where he wanted to go in the trucking industry. Based out of his home in Cades, SC, he drove the truck hauling freight while his wife, Leila Baker, worked an outside job and kept up with all the trucking paperwork. They were simply doing their best to raise a family. As the years went by they were blessed to have opportunities arise that allowed the business to grow requiring the addition of more trucks and trailers. With the simple idea of slow, steady growth, Baker Transportation continues to thrive today.
