About the Job
We are looking for Local drivers in the Louisville Ky area. Local drivers will travel up to 250 mile radius. Home every night and off on the weekends. Must have a clean driving record. We will except drivers that are in the SAP program.
Job Summary
- Contract Driver (1099, Solo)
- Refrigerated and Dry Van
- Local
- $1,200 gross total weekly avg. pay
- $1200 minimum guaranteed weekly pay
- 1,200 - 1,500 avg. miles per week
- Day shift
- No Driver Load/Unload
- No slip seating
Home Time
- 5 days on, 2 days off
- Home every weekend
Freight Handling Details
- 100% live load / unload
Pet and Rider Policy
- Pets are allowed
- Riders are allowed
Carrier and Truck Information
- Fleet size: 17 trucks
- Semi-trucks are governed at 72 mph
- We operate both manual and automatic semi-trucks
- Can't take truck home.
- We have Freightliners, Internationals, Peterbilts, Kenworths
- No driver facing cameras
- Hiring drivers attending SAP
Orientation Details
- Offers paid orientation
- Does not cover accommodation
- Drivers get their own room
- No meals are included
- Does not cover any travel expenses
Hiring Requirements
- Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving or (K) Intrastate Only
- 3 years Tractor Trailer experience
