Drivers are loaded at the clay pits starting at 6am. They haul the clay to the cement plant, where they unload at the direction of the plant employees. Then, the drivers go back to the clay pit to load the second round. Drivers are normally done by afternoon and do not work weekends. Drivers are paid for each load they deliver. Each driver should be able to deliver 2 loads per day, for a total of ten loads each week. The rate is $110.00 per load. BCBS health insurance is available after 30 days of full time work; the company pays half of the insurance cost. This job does not work weekends or major holidays. Drivers are expected to complete their daily paperwork (DVIR pre and post, log, haul sheet) each day and turn in the completed paperwork by Sunday afternoon.
