Hiring Requirements
- Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) No Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving or (O) No Semi Trailer
- Must have (T) Doubles/Triples endorsement at time of hire
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last year
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
Pay & Miles
- $750 - $1,000 total weekly
- 1,000 - 2,400 miles per week

Fonson Company in Brighton is currently hiring gravel train drivers, we have multiple openings.
- We offer health care after 30 days - 75% company paid,
- Flexible leave policy,
- Well maintained equipment - Peterbilt automatics, and Kenworth T800s.
- Minimum 3 years gravel train experience,
- Ability to safely load, haul and dump broken concrete, asphalt, sand, gravel and other construction related materials,
- Must be willing to work overtime including weekends,
- Able to work cooperatively with operators, foremen, and other drivers to maintain production on jobsites.

Fonson Company Inc is a roadbuilding contractor located in Brighton Michigan. Our job locations are generally within an hour travel of Brighton, although trucks will go further when material is required from certain suppliers. Fonson currently operates 12 gravel trains to move materials for our crews. Candidates with prior gravel train experience are preferred. Policy On Taking Truck Home Trucks will be parked at the shop at the end of the day.
