Hiring Requirements
- Class A license
- 12 months OTR experience
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last year
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Max 1 accident in the last year
- Max 2 accidents in the last 3 years
Pay & Miles
- $8,000 - $14,000 gross total weekly. Paid weekly.
- 3,000 - 3,500 miles per week
Home Time
- 7 - 14 expected days out
- You can stay out longer if you want to
- Home at least 2 weekends per month
Freight Handling
- 100% drop and hook
Carrier and Truck Information
- Fleet size: 25 trucks
- Semi-trucks are not governed
- Freightliners, Peterbilts, Kenworths, Volvos, Macks
- Mostly automatic semi-trucks
- We mainly operate late model trucks

About the job
We are looking for a hard-working and experienced owner operator to perform deliveries in a timely manner. The owner operator’s responsibilities include reviewing trip orders to plan rest and fuel stops accordingly, scheduling vehicle repairs and maintenance outside regular working hours, and carrying records of the cargo being transported. You should also be able to maintain communication with dispatch to report any delays due to traffic congestion or vehicle breakdown.
To be successful as an owner operator, you should be able to concentrate for extended periods and adhere to road safety regulations at all times. Ultimately, an outstanding owner operator should practice safe driving habits as well as demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
